Matt Beck is a Principal at Power Equipment Specialists and has been working in the electric utility industry since 2001 selling generation, transmission, substation, distribution and metering products and services. He graduated from Rhodes College in 1999 with a degree in political science and studied history at Oxford University. He has worked for two previous agencies in Tennessee and Colorado.

In his free time, Matt enjoys coaching football, basketball and soccer and has won multiple awards for his philanthropic work with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. He also enjoys screaming at the television whenever his favorite football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, is on.

Grant Agee is a Principal at Power Equipment Specialists and has been in the electric utility industry since 2011. He specializes in the technical sale and marketing of medium- and high-voltage power equipment and services.

In efforts to become more involved in the electric utility industry and expand his network, he has served as the Chair for the IEEE Denver PES/IAS Chapter.

Grant played D-II college basketball at the Colorado School of Mines and graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a minor in Economics in 2011. He also received his MBA from the University of Colorado Denver in 2016.

Grant and his wife, Lauren, have two kids (Jaxon and Cali). Grant spends his free time playing with the kids, coaching his kids’ sporting activities, and playing golf.

Hank Esser is a Sales Engineer at Power Equipment Specialists and has been in the electric utility industry since 2017. He focuses on technical sales and marketing of medium and high voltage power equipment, testing equipment, and services. Hank’s markets are power distribution, substation, substation maintenance, transmission, generation and renewables.

Hank graduated from the University of San Diego in 2014 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Certification of Engineer In Training (EIT) in 2014, and he has work experience in both design and application of industrial products. Hank is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Colorado Denver.

Hank grew up in Evergreen, Colorado and enjoys skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.

Matt Oliver is a Colorado native and joined the Power Equipment Specialists team in 2026. He has over 20 years of technical sales experience, with a focus on the power and electric utility industry since 2013. Matt's experience allows him to excel at managing complex projects for his customers and manufacturers.

Matt graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a minor in Business in 2003. He also played safety on the football team at Mines as they began their rise as a top tier D-II football program.

Matt and his wife (Jenn) live in Centennial with their two daughters (Jordan and Taylor). He enjoys playing and watching all sports, exploring the outdoors, and traveling the world with family and friends. 

Jackson Sims is a Territory Manager for Power Equipment Specialists in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. He has been working in the electric utility industry since 2021 selling transmission, substation, and distribution products and services. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a certificate in Marketing.

In his free time, Jackson is an avid outdoorsman who spends time with his dog, Waylon. He also enjoys watching boxing and MMA.

Lauren Agee oversees the inside operations at Power Equipment Specialists. She spent 10 years as a Human Resources Professional before joining the PES Team in 2018. Lauren graduated from the University of Southern California in 2009 with a degree in International Relations.

Darlene is responsible for the project management and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives for Power Equipment Specialists, Inc.
